How it works
Multiple light scattering analysis of concentrated dispersions
The optical sensor consists of a pulsed near-infrared light source and two synchronous detectors:
° The transmission detector monitors light transmitted through the product;
° The backscattering  detector receives light backscattered by the product.
The optical sensors acquire
transmission and backscattering signals as fast as every 0.1 seconds (0.1 to 10 seconds) and these signals are digitized by a current to voltage converter. The results are then displayed by the Turbiscan OL software indicating real time changes in transmission and backscattering intensities.
Designed for laboratory, pilot plant and production applications, the TurbiScan On-line monitors processes for real time characterization of concentrated dispersions.
